Today we are going to check the Mains Cable on a Numatic Henry. Unclip the head and remove from the bowl. Pull the cable all the way out and clean with maintenance spray. Feed the cable through your hands to locate any cuts, if the cable needs repairing please seek professional help. Remove the fuse cap on the plug and remove the fuse using a small flat head screwdriver. You can test the fuse using a multimeter. Turn the head over and unscrew the four screws with a cross head screwdriver and remove the top cover and swirler. In the head are the cable contacts, using a multimeter you can test the cable resistance by touching a contact and one of the plug pins, the multimeter will show a connection if the cable is working correctly. If the cable is damaged please seek a professional fitter. Now put the swirler and top cover back on and secure with four screws. That is how you check the mains cable on a Numatic Henry.
