The Addax HSS Cobalt Jobber Drill is a 1.0 mm diameter twist drill for precise holes in hard and abrasive metals. Made from cobalt-alloy high speed steel and roll forged to DIN 338, it offers high strength and excellent heat resistance under continuous use. With a jobber-length overall size of 34 mm (1.34 in) and a 1.0 mm (0.039 in) straight shank, it fits standard drill chucks and collets on cordless drills, corded hand drills, pillar drills, and drill presses. Designed for stainless steel and chromium-nickel (Cr-Ni) alloys, it also performs well in mild steel and other ferrous metals when used with appropriate cutting fluid and speeds.
