Damped gas struts are ideal for lids and bonnets that require controlled opening and closing. They slow the speed of movement to help prevent damage or injury, while also taking some of the weight of the door or panel.

These struts can be easily identified by the Newton rating stamped on the cylinder, along with measuring the open and closed lengths to ensure the correct fit.
