We are looking at purchasing this sock to enclose a pump we have in a water pit which contains an amount of silt. What are the dimensions and openings of the sock so we can ensure there is enough room to house the pump within the sock? I appreciate we are looking at doing this the wrong way round and that you would advise putting this on the water outlet to collect the silt however do you see any reason why this proposal would not work?

The length is 142cm and the opening/width is 32cm. Unfortunately we would not be able to confirm if it would be suitable for anything other than the intended purpose.
