My Dawalt impact driver does not impact anymore, everything else works , is this the part I need? Can you advise, also is it hard to fit?

Yes this is the part we would recommend for you to try replacing to fix your problem. As for fitting it, it should be quite straight forward but there are quite a few parts you need to remove first so you would need to make sure they go back on in the correct order.
