What is the difference between a Dee Shackle and a Bow Shackle?

The main differences between a dee shackle and a bow shackle is their shape, pin design and their specific applications.

A Dee Shackle has a "D" or "U" shape, with a straight, flat-sided body and a rounded or curved pin. A Bow Shackle has a shape resembling the letter "O" or the bow of a bow and arrow. The pin is straight and typically secured with a bolt or screw pin.
