Overview:
This 2.4m Fall Protection 50mm Ratchet Strap With Snap Hooks is a restraint strap used to help prevent falls when working on flatbed vans, vehicles and trailers. It creates a temporary connection between approved anchorage points, allowing the user to set and maintain a safe working position. The strap uses 50 mm (2 inch) polyester webbing with a steel ratchet tensioner and steel snap hooks at each end for fast attachment. The ratchet provides controlled adjustment to set the effective working length as required on site. This is a Non-Genuine compatible part intended for general fall restraint systems where an adjustable tie-off is needed. Use with compatible anchor points and PPE rated for working at height. Not a substitute for an energy-absorbing fall arrest lanyard.

Apply as part of a working-at-height system designed for restraint, alongside compatible harnesses, connectors and anchor points. Do not use for fall arrest where an energy absorber is required.
