I bought the carburettor packing plate and the air intake gasket as I had a leak on the plate but still got the same leak with new one, my question is should gasket sealer be used on the carb face onto the plate as it did not seem to have any on the old one?
We have had a look into this for you and there shouldn't be any sealant that is used on there. You may have to tighten the nuts up a little more.
