Overview:
The Chemico Valve Grinding Paste in a 100 g double-ended tin is a two-grade abrasive compound for refurbishing and seating engine valves and valve seats. Each end holds a different grade: coarse for initial cutting and fine for finishing to a smooth, accurate seal. The paste is a grease-based abrasive (commonly silicon carbide) that stays in place during lapping and wipes off cleanly after use. It is suitable for petrol and diesel engines in cars, vans, motorcycles, small plant, lawnmowers, generators, marine engines and industrial machinery. Used correctly with a hand lapping stick or lapping tool, it helps restore compression, reduce leakage, and improve running, making it a practical workshop consumable for both tradespeople and DIY users.
