Overview:
De-Ionised Water, Battery Maintenance and Steam Irons, 5L (TUW5) is a high-purity water formulated to be free from dissolved minerals and ions. The clear, residue‐free water helps prevent limescale, furring and corrosion in equipment that is sensitive to mineral deposits. Supplied in a 5 litre container (approx. 1.10 UK gallons), it is suitable for topping up lead‐acid batteries used in vehicles, plant and garden machinery, and for refilling steam irons and steam generator appliances. With a neutral pH and very low conductivity compared with tap water, it supports reliable performance and reduces maintenance. The robust jerrycan with screw cap and carry handle makes storage and pouring straightforward in the workshop, on site, or at home.
