This Float Chamber is a Genuine Amal part designed for the Amal Type 308/5 carburettor used on classic JAP single-cylinder engines, including JAP 34 and JAP 80. The chamber regulates and maintains the correct fuel level so the carburettor can meter fuel accurately across idle, part‐throttle, and load conditions. Supplied as vintage unused stock, it may show light tarnishing or storage marks, but this does not affect performance.
