The SAS Garage Defender is an incredibly effective way to secure your valuables in your garage by adding additional security in front of the up-and-over door.
Garage Defenders: Concrete Fixing, Tarmac Fixing
The Red Garage Defender is a secure visual lock for up-and-over garage doors. It is ﾑSold Secureﾒ tested against crime and insurance approved so your valuables will be safe. The red bar locked in place prevents the door moving up beyond it by forcing open.
Simple to fix into concrete outside the garage door using the 2 fixing bolts supplied. The plate will fix into brick or paving as well. We recommend fixing with a 10mm drill bit followed by a 16mm bit for ease. The strength will be in the fixing so ensuring a clean fixing is a must.
The base plate to fix to the ground measures 78 x 105mm and 5mm thick for the concrete fixing model. When fixing into tarmac, the Garage Defender can be bought with a tarmac adaptor plate (width 70mm, depth 130mm) to replace the plate supplied with the concrete one. Comes supplied with a high security armour plated padlock to lock in place.
Painted bright red for maximum visual deterrent for potential garage thieves. You cannot unscrew the bolts in the base plate when locked up due to their position under the Garage Defender. One of the bolts will be covered by the garage door so you canﾒt unscrew them if the door is closed. The other one can be under the Red Garage Defender unit and locked over with the padlock.
