Made from robust split cowhide leather with heat-resistant Kevlar stitching, it shields the torso and upper legs from sparks, spatter, and debris during fabrication tasks. Adjustable straps with quick-release buckles provide a secure fit over workwear, and a front hook-and-loop pocket keeps small tools and consumables close at hand. Designed for use around common equipment such as MIG, TIG and MMA/arc welders, plasma cutters, oxy-fuel gear, and grinders, it helps reduce the risk of clothing damage and minor contact burns.
