The Sealey SSP145 Leather Welding Safety Hood is a heavy-duty head and neck protector for welding and hot work. Made from robust split cowhide leather with heat-resistant Kevlar stitching, it is built to withstand sparks, spatter and abrasion in demanding environments. The hood offers extended coverage around the scalp, ears and upper neck while remaining supple for all-day use. A hook-and-loop fastening provides a secure, adjustable fit. Designed to be worn with common welding setups, it works well alongside a welding helmet or face shield when carrying out MIG/MAG, TIG, MMA (stick), oxy‐fuel cutting or plasma cutting tasks. Conforms to EN ISO 11611 for protective clothing used in welding and allied processes, providing reliable protection for fabrication shops, site work and maintenance tasks.
