This Magneto Ball Race Gasket is a Genuine Wipac part for the Wipac CJ type magneto as fitted to many J.A. Prestwich (JAP) engines. It is a precision-cut sealing gasket, typically made from oil- and fuel‐resistant fibre/paper material, designed to sit under the magneto's ball race retainer or cover. Its role is to seal the bearing housing, help keep grease in and dirt out, and maintain correct magneto alignment for consistent ignition performance. Ideal for maintaining or restoring vintage engines used on plant, industrial and garden machinery, it helps prevent air leaks that can affect timing stability and spark quality.
