Overview:
The Sealey Multi Gasket Sealant Orange 50ml (Part No. SCS574) is an anaerobic flange sealing compound for forming reliable in-place gaskets on close-fitting, rigid metal joints. Supplied in a compact 50ml concertina tube, it applies a controlled bead and offers low resistance during assembly, so components can be aligned and closed without dragging. Once confined between metal faces and air is excluded, it cures to create a durable, fluid-tight seal. The orange formula is highly resistant to oil, water and glycol, making it suitable for engines, transmissions, pumps and plant machinery in workshops and on site. Use it to seal cover plates, sumps, housings and gearcases where a cut gasket is not available or needs reinforcement. Suitable for clean steel, cast iron and aluminium flanges.

Typical Applications:
Sealing timing covers, gear housings, pump flanges, sumps, differential covers and split crankcases on vehicles, motorcycles, lawn mowers, generators, compactors and light construction plant. Useful on hydraulic and coolant system flanges where an oil- and glycol-resistant in-place gasket is required. Performs best on clean, dry, close-fitting metal faces during assembly and routine maintenance.
