Overview:
This Oil Seal (magneto side) is a Genuine JAP component for the RS80 engine. It sits at the magneto end of the crankshaft to keep lubricating oil where it should be and to stop ingress of dust and moisture into the magneto area. The seal uses an oil‐resistant synthetic rubber lip supported by a metal case for stability and a precise press fit in the housing. By maintaining a clean, dry magneto chamber and preventing oil leaks, it helps preserve reliable ignition and overall engine efficiency. Suitable for JAP RS80 engines commonly found in older plant and machinery, this is unused old stock (NOS) and may show cosmetic ageing that does not affect function.
