This piston (0.25) is a factory oversize component for the Robin/Subaru EY08 petrol engine. Cast from heat‐resistant aluminium alloy in a silver finish, it is designed to withstand high temperatures and pressures while maintaining tight clearances for efficient combustion. The 0.25 mm oversize (approx. 0.010 in) compensates for cylinder wear after a rebore or hone, restoring compression and power. Precision machining ensures a true running surface and accurate fit on the gudgeon pin and within the cylinder bore.
