Overview:
The T22 (replaces Loctite 222) is a genuine Lockfast, low‐strength, purple threadlocker supplied in a handy 10 ml bottle. It is an anaerobic, methacrylate‐based adhesive designed to secure and seal small fasteners without damaging threads or low‐strength materials. With a low viscosity of 900-1500 mPa·s (cP), it wicks easily into threads and provides controlled holding power that remains service‐removable with standard hand tools. T22 helps stop vibration‐induced loosening, protects threads from corrosion, and maintains clamp load over a wide service temperature range of −54°C to +150°C. Suitable across construction and garden machinery, it's ideal for small screws found in items such as lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, compact generators, and light plant equipment where reliable, low‐torque retention is required.
