Overview:
The T70 Retaining Compound is a genuine Lockfast high‐strength, green, anaerobic adhesive supplied in a 10 ml bottle. Designed as a direct replacement for Loctite 270, it permanently locks metal threaded fasteners in heavy‐duty assemblies used across construction and garden machinery. The medium viscosity (500-900 mPa·s) provides controlled flow for clean application on bolts, studs and screws without excessive run‐off. Once confined between close‐fitting metal threads, it cures to resist vibration and shock, helping prevent loosening in demanding environments such as motor housings and drive assemblies. With a wide service temperature range from -54°C to 150°C, fast fixture and full cure, and UV‐positive fluorescence for inspection, T70 supports reliable, repeatable maintenance and repair work. Typical Applications:
