Overview:
The T70 (Replaces Loctite 270) Retaining Compound is a genuine Lockfast, high‐strength, green threadlocker supplied in a 50 ml bottle. It is an anaerobic, single‐component adhesive designed to permanently lock and seal threaded fasteners to prevent loosening from vibration and shock, while helping to resist leaks and corrosion. With a medium viscosity of 500-900 mPa·s (cP), it flows well enough to wet threads yet stays in place during assembly. UV‐positive chemistry allows quick inspection under UVA light to confirm coverage. Operating from -54°C to 150°C, it performs reliably across harsh site conditions. Use it on bolts, studs, set screws and nuts in construction and garden machinery such as motor housings, pumps, gearboxes and frames where a permanent, high‐torque hold is required.
