Overview:
The TechFast Baypole Screw Wafer Head TORX 4.8 x 100mm from ForgeFix is a self-drilling fixing for joining bay window sections and metal-reinforced PVCu. Made from hardened steel with a corrosion-resistant Elementech coating, it provides reliable fastening in construction and renovation work. The low-profile wafer head spreads load to reduce pull-through on PVCu, while the TORX-compatible TX25 recess gives a positive, slip-resistant drive. A No.3 drill tip allows direct drilling into thin steel sections up to 4mm (5/32 in) without pre-drilling. Each box contains 100 screws, with a TX25 impact bit included for convenience. Size: 4.8mm (3/16 in) diameter x 100mm (4 in) length, suitable for use with drill drivers and impact drivers where a clean, flush finish is required around frames and trims.
