The SWP Crack Detector Penetrant Aerosol Spray is a colour-contrast liquid penetrant supplied in a pressurised metal can for non-destructive testing of surface-breaking defects. Designed for weld inspection and general metalwork checks, it draws into fine discontinuities and makes them visible so you can confirm integrity without damaging the part. Suitable for ferrous and non‐ferrous metals, including mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium and cast iron, it works on welds, castings, fabrications and machined components used across construction plant, agricultural machinery and workshop equipment. The aerosol format delivers even coverage on small parts and large fabrications with minimal set-up. Supplied by SWP and identified by Manufacturer Part Number (MPN) 1800, it fits standard penetrant test routines in conjunction with appropriate cleaner and developer.
