The SWP Crack Detector Developer Aerosol Spray (MPN 1801) is a solvent-based developer supplied in a portable aerosol can for non-destructive weld inspection. Used after a penetrant and cleaner, it draws trapped dye back out of surface-breaking flaws to produce clear, visible indications of cracks, pinholes and porosity. The fine, even coating helps you judge defect size and location with accuracy. Suitable for inspecting welds, castings and machined components found on construction plant, agricultural equipment, garden machinery, fabrications and structural steelwork. It performs well on common engineering metals including mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium. Designed for both workshop and on-site checks, it supports quick visual inspection to help maintain the integrity and safety of welded joints and critical parts.
