Overview:
Sealey Threaded Insert (Rivet Nut) M6 Splined, Part No. TISM6, is a pack of 50 zinc‐plated metal inserts for creating strong internal threads in thin or hollow materials. The splined shank bites into the parent material to resist rotation, while the blind design lets you install from one side of the workpiece. These inserts are widely used on sheet steel, aluminium panels, and thin box section found on construction plant, trailers, vans, mowers and other garden or workshop machinery. The zinc plating provides durable corrosion resistance and a clean, bright finish suited to indoor and outdoor service. Fit using a compatible M6 rivet nut setting tool (manual, lever, or pneumatic) to achieve a neat, permanent threaded anchor where tapping is not possible.
