Today we are going to change the air filter in a Hatz 1D42S Engine. Remove the casing, that encloses the air filter, by turning the handle anticlockwise. Remove the air filter cover unscrewing the wing nut anticlockwise. You can now remove the filter from the tank by hand. Check the air filter for any damage or signs of wear. If necessary change the air filter. Place the air filter (either way) back into position. Now you can return the cover back over the air filter. Before putting back the casing, check if the exterior seal is tight. Place the casing back, making sure it is secure. That's how you change the air filter in a Hatz 1D42S Engine.
