Today we're going to remove the muffler and change the gasket on a McCulloch Mac 338 Chainsaw. Unscrew the two bolts that hold the muffler in place using an 8mm socket. When the muffler is off you will also release the gasket and the plate. Remove the gasket. Replace the gasket if necessary. Place the plate on the back of the muffler. Align the muffler, and secure with the two bolts. That's how you remove the muffler and change the gasket on a McCulloch Mac 338 Chainsaw.
