Today we're going to change the Blade on a McCulloch M40-450C Lawnmower. Firstly, tilt the lawnmower carefully so you can see the blade underneath. Then, using a 17mm Socket Spanner (this might be quite tight) loosen the screw and spring washer so you can access and remove the blade. Tip: You may also want to remove the build up around the blade, to make sure that your lawnmower is working to its full potential. You can either remove it by hand or by using a pressure washer when the blade is off. Place the new blade back on the governor, securing the washer and screw over the top, with a 17mm Socket Spanner. That's how you change the blade on a McCulloch M40-450C Lawnmower.
