AL-KO AKS 2004/3004 Stabiliser
The AL-KO AKS 2004 and AKS 3004 are stabiliser couplings that enhance towing stability for caravans and trailers by replacing the standard coupling head. They use integrated friction pads to clamp onto the towball, reducing snaking and pitching during transit. The AKS 3004 includes four friction pads, supporting trailers with a gross weight up to 3,000 kg.
To maintain performance, regular checks and replacements of friction pads are recommended. Side friction pads and rubber gaiters are available for both models. Available hitch locks provide additional security, remaining attached during transit to deter theft.
