The 50mm Trailer Coupling, 3000kg, Heavy Duty Cast, For 50mm Round Drawbar (MPN 764 054) is a robust coupling head for braked trailers working up to a 3,000 kg gross trailer weight. It is cast from heavy duty steel with a pressed steel handle and a zinc plated finish for corrosion resistance. Designed to mount onto a 50 mm round tube drawbar (approximately 2 in), it accepts a standard 50 mm towball and provides secure attachment for plant, construction and transport trailers. R55 approval with D27 and S150 ratings supports regulated road use, while a colour-coded wear and correct attachment indicator helps visual checks in service. The body offers both top and side mounting hole options and requires M14 fixing bolts of minimum grade 10.9 for installation. Supplied without a lock, it is compatible with the Maypole MP478B hitch lock if security is required. Suitable as a replacement for AL-KO AK301 where specifications match.
