Overview:
This short corner steady (MPN 764 066) is a compact stabilising leg designed to support and steady trailers, caravans and plant transport at the corner of the chassis when parked or during loading. The short pattern body gives good ground clearance on lower chassis and smaller trailers while still offering firm support when wound down. A screw-action mechanism allows accurate height adjustment so the vehicle can be levelled and movement reduced on soft or uneven ground. Rated to 800 kg maximum support load, it is intended for static stabilisation rather than lifting or jacking. Commonly fitted in pairs or sets to the rear and/or front corners, it can be used on general-duty trailers, small caravans, site support units and mobile equipment where space is limited but dependable stabilising is required.
