The Timco HSS Blacksmith Drill is a large-diameter, reduced-shank drill bit for accurate hole making in metal. It measures 17.5mm in diameter (approx. 11/16 in) with an overall length of 160mm (approx. 6 5/16 in). Made from High-Speed Steel (HSS) with a titanium nitride (TiN) coating, it delivers strong wear resistance and consistent performance under load. A 12.5mm shank (approx. 1/2 in) with three flats helps prevent chuck slip, making it suitable for common hand-held drills, pillar drills and magnetic drills using standard 13mm or 1/2 in chucks.
