Overview:
The Timco HSS Blacksmith Drill is a heavy‐duty twist drill bit designed for accurate drilling of large holes in metal and plastics. With a 20.0mm diameter and 160mm overall length, it uses a reduced 12.5mm shank with three flats for a solid grip in standard 13mm chucks. Made from high‐speed steel (HSS) and finished with a titanium nitride coating, it offers good wear resistance and reduced friction for longer service life. This bit is suitable for use in pillar drills, magnetic base drills, and powerful hand drills with a side handle. It is well suited to workshop and site tasks where consistent performance is required in alloy steel, cast iron, non‐ferrous metals, and rigid plastics.
