Overview:
The Timco HSS Blacksmith Drill is a large‐diameter metal drill bit designed for reliable hole making in tough materials. With a 22.0 mm cutting diameter and 160 mm overall length, it is made from high‐speed steel (HSS) for strength and heat resistance. A titanium nitride (TiN) coating improves wear resistance and helps maintain a sharp cutting edge for longer. The reduced 12.5 mm shank with three flats provides a positive, slip‐resistant grip in standard 13 mm chucks, making it suitable for corded and cordless handheld drills, as well as pillar drills and drill presses. Use it for drilling alloy steels, cast iron, non‐ferrous metals such as aluminium and brass, and many common engineering plastics. Built for accuracy and durability on site or in the workshop.
