I have just ordered piston & cylinder kit. For STIHL FS 94 C Does piston skirt go at back or front?

There is usually an arrow on the top of the piston that points to the exhaust. If by the Piston skirt you mean the extended part at the bottom of the piston this goes towards the carburettor side.
