Is Stihl Spring ref. No 4241 195 3501 required with rewind assembly unit? I have just taken receipt of new rewind assembly unit and upon installation blower/shredder starts without need for spring. Do I need to install the Spring?

The object of the second spring is it turns the engine twice as quick when trying to start. It will start on one spring but supposed to be easier with two springs.
