Overview:
Lockfast T70 is a green, high-strength anaerobic threadlocker designed for the permanent locking and sealing of threaded fasteners. Supplied in a 250 ml bottle (approx. 8.8 fl oz UK), it secures studs, bolts and screws against vibration, loosening and leakage, while sealing threads to help prevent corrosion. The medium viscosity (500–900 mPa·s) makes it suitable for general assembly on most metals including steel and plated fasteners. T70 fixtures in under 10 minutes at room temperature and reaches full cure in 24 hours. Once cured it delivers a high breakaway torque of 26–50 N·m, with prevailing torque >15 N·m. Service temperature range is -54 to 150°C (-65 to 302°F). UV positive for inspection, and commonly used on engines, pumps, gearboxes and motor housings. GTIN: 5060954881259.

Typical Applications:
Permanent locking of studs and bolts in engines, pumps, gearboxes, electric motor housings and compressors. Ideal for agricultural machinery, construction plant, heavy vehicles, conveyors and machine tools subject to high vibration. Used to secure bearing carrier bolts, housing studs, pulley and sprocket fasteners, and general assembly screws where disassembly requires heat or high torque. Also helps seal threaded joints against oils, coolants and water to reduce loosening and corrosion in service.
