Overview:
The Slotted Tailboard Lug, Bolt-On (MPN 800 1215) is a heavy-duty forged steel fitting for retaining and securing tailboards, dropsides and similar closures on trailers and commercial bodies. Supplied in self colour, it is ready for painting or finishing to suit the vehicle or body build. The lug features a slotted eye to accept matching ironwork, allowing a secure but easily releasable engagement on tailboards and side panels. It mounts using an integral M12 x 40 mm threaded shank (12 mm / 0.47" diameter, 40 mm / 1.57" long) and is supplied complete with a nut for straightforward bolt-on installation. Key dimensions include an overall length of 83.5 mm (3.29"), a slotted opening of 17 x 7 mm (0.67" x 0.28") and a body diameter of 19 mm (0.75").
