The Tailboard Locking Bar Bracket (MPN 800 1238) is a bolt-on bracket used to locate and retain a tailboard locking bar on commercial bodies and trailers. Manufactured from mild steel in a self colour (plain, untreated) finish, it provides a durable mounting point for the bar on tippers, trucks and similar equipment. The bracket has a 26 mm (1.02 in) bore to accept a 25 mm (0.98 in, approx. 1 in) locking bar with working clearance. Overall dimensions are 89 mm (3.50 in) long, 40 mm (1.57 in) wide and 42 mm (1.65 in) high. It fixes through two 8.5 mm (0.33 in) clearance holes for straightforward installation to the body or frame.
