Description
Overview:
This weld-on tailboard forket, extended 129 mm, for a 25 mm shaft (MPN 800 1240), is a forged mild steel hinge fork used to create a sturdy pivot on commercial vehicle and equipment bodywork. The component is designed to be welded to the tailboard, drop-side or door, providing the forked receiver for a Ø25 mm (0.98 in) shaft or pin to form the hinge. The extended pattern offers additional stand-off compared with short designs, helping with alignment where thicker skins, wear plates or side cheeks are present. Manufactured from forged mild steel in a self-colour (uncoated) finish, it is supplied ready for fabrication and subsequent painting or finishing to suit the body. The approximate overall size envelope is 129 mm (5.08 in) in length, 39 mm (1.54 in) in width and 56 mm (2.20 in) in height. Suitable for use across truck, trailer, tipper, agricultural and waste handling bodywork where a compact weld-on hinge fork is required.
