Description
Overview:
This 1" Type F Camlock x BSPT Male Polyprop is a cam-and-groove adapter for building quick-release hose and pipe connections. One end is a Type F camlock male adapter that mates with a 1" female camlock coupler; the other end is a 1" BSPT male tapered thread for connection into compatible threaded ports, valves, or fittings. The body is moulded from polypropylene for a lightweight, non-metallic, and corrosion-resistant connection in water and many chemical handling tasks. Use it to bridge between hose assemblies using camlock couplers and rigid pipework with female BSP threads. The camlock side connects and disconnects without tools via the mating coupler’s cam arms, while the BSPT thread seals using suitable PTFE tape or thread sealant. Not suitable for compressed air, steam, or gas service.
