Overview:
The Impact Rubber Square Buffer (MPN 800 1181) is a heavy-duty body stop designed to absorb contact and protect vehicle bodies, racks and equipment from damage during loading, manoeuvring and docking. It is moulded from black synthetic rubber with high impact resistance for repeated use in fleet and site conditions. The buffer measures 120 mm (4.72 in) in length, 75 mm (2.95 in) in width and provides an 85 mm (3.35 in) stand-off to keep metalwork clear of obstructions. A 12 mm (0.47 in) diameter clearance hole allows straightforward bolt-through fixing to steelwork or mounting plates. Suited to commercial transport and handling equipment, it provides a durable interface between vehicles, structures and loads. Typical uses include trucks, trailers, vans, glass rack carriers, sheet metal handling, forklift trucks and airport service vehicles where a compact, robust impact point is required.
