The 12N Pre-Wired 7-Pin Trailer Socket (MPN 761 395) is a standard UK/European N-type towing socket for 12V road-lighting circuits. It provides the primary electrical connection between a tow vehicle and trailer, with circuits for indicators, tail, stop and rear fog lamps plus a common earth return. The socket body is a durable moulded polymer with a spring-loaded protective lid to help keep the contacts covered when not in use. Supplied with a pre-wired 7-core cable tail, it speeds up installation and helps maintain correct 12N colour coding during connection to the vehicle loom. The unit bolts to a standard towbar socket plate or mounting bracket and accepts any standard 7-pin trailer plug (ISO 1724 pattern).
