The 13 Pin Trailer Socket 12V Plastic With Mechanical Fog Cut-Off (MPN 763 254) is a vehicle-mounted 13‐pin towbar socket for 12V caravan and trailer electrics. It uses a durable plastic body with nickel‐plated pins on screw terminals for a secure, corrosion‐resistant connection. A mechanical fog cut‐off switch is built in to meet current towing requirements by disabling the towing vehicle's rear fog lamp when a compatible trailer or caravan is connected. The socket complies with ISO 11446, ensuring interoperability with standard Euro 13‐pin plugs used across modern caravans and many trailers. A rear gasket is included to help seal the cable entry and mounting area against water and road dirt.
