Overview:
This 50mm trailer coupling (MPN 763 749) is a reinforced pressed steel, bolt-on coupling head for use with standard 50mm (1.97 in) towballs on light trailers and plant transport up to 1300 kg (1.28 t) gross. It mounts to a minimum 50 mm (2.0 in) square tube drawbar using two M12 (approx. 1/2 in) high-tensile bolts. The body is zinc plated for corrosion resistance and is R55 approved with D = 12.3 kN and S = 100 kg. An integrated wear gauge and correct attachment indicator help confirm safe connection to the towball. Mounting holes are provided on both the side and top faces to suit different drawbar configurations. Supplied without a lock, it accepts an optional coupling lock and a soft dock bumper for added protection.
