The Tailboard Straight Strap Hinge (MPN 800 1118) is a robust mild steel hinge section designed for use with tailboard hinge pins on commercial and agricultural bodies. Manufactured from mild steel with a zinc plated finish, it provides durable service and corrosion resistance in fleet and site conditions. The strap measures 152.5mm (6.0") in length, 30mm (1.18") in width and 6mm (0.24") in thickness, with a hinge bore sized to suit Ø12.5mm (0.49", 1/2") pins or gudgeons. Overall hinge height is 24.5mm (0.96"). This straight pattern strap is commonly specified for fabricating or renewing tailboard pivots on tippers, rigid trucks, plant and goods trailers, balers and skips where a straightforward, pin-and-strap assembly is required. Supplied zinc plated for general weather protection on road and site vehicles.
