Overview:
This pressed steel trailer coupling for 35 mm round tube drawbars (MPN 763 788) is a heavy-duty coupling head designed for light plant, utility and general-duty trailers using a 35 mm (approx. 1 3/8 in) round drawbar. The body is formed from thick-gauge pressed steel with a zinc-plated finish for corrosion resistance in fleet and site use. It mounts to the drawbar using two side-fixing bolts and provides a secure, positive latch with an integral wear and correct-attachment indicator for routine visual checks. Rated to 1700 kg (1.7 tonne), it is approved to UNECE R55 (D15.8, S100) for road use. Side mounting hole centres are 54-57 mm (approx. 2.13-2.24 in). The coupling is supplied without a lock but accepts the optional Maypole lock MP478B and can be used with the soft dock MP1940. It is also suitable as a replacement for AL-KO AK160A where specifications match.
