Overview:
The Multi‐Purpose Security Chain 1 m x 6 mm with Combination Lock (MPN 763 444) is a compact, general‐use chain for securing bikes, motorcycles, e‐scooters, outdoor equipment and site tools to fixed points. The chain is manufactured from zinc‐plated steel for strength and corrosion resistance, with 6 mm (0.24 in) links and an overall working length of 1 m (39.4 in). An integral 5‐digit combination lock with a zinc‐alloy cylinder removes the need for a separate padlock. A tough nylon sleeve covers the chain to minimise scratching to frames, racks, painted parts and machinery, and to make handling easier with gloves. Weighing approximately 0.73 kg (1.61 lb), it is light enough to carry in a van, pannier or toolbox, yet provides a clear visual deterrent for opportunist theft on site, in transit or in storage.
