This longlife detachable Bowden brake cable (MPN 211 059) is a service brake cable for braked trailers built with Knott running gear and many Ifor Williams models using Knott brakes. It features a protective sheath over the inner cable to help resist rust and abrasion in everyday fleet use. The cable has an outer length (L) of 2030 mm and an inner length (L1) of 2240 mm, selected to match the required run and travel on the trailer's brake linkage. The detachable design aids straightforward removal and refitting during routine maintenance or cable replacement. Suitable for general purpose trailers, plant and equipment transporters, horseboxes and other commercial towing applications using overrun braking systems.
