This 12V 20A Self-Switching Dual Charge Relay (MPN 763 466) is designed for caravan and towing electrics to manage split charging and fridge power safely and efficiently. It automatically monitors system voltage and switches the supply from the tow vehicle to the caravan, charging the leisure battery and/or powering the fridge while the engine is running. When the engine is off, the relay isolates the caravan load to protect the vehicle's starter battery from discharge. The unit is a combination caravan relay for 12S supplementary electrics and requires no separate ignition or signal wire, simplifying installation. It features an adjustable, factory-set voltage trip with narrow hysteresis for stable operation, low voltage drop for efficient charging, line drop compensation, and over-temperature protection.
